Mad Men 2.7 - The Golden Violin
Sep. 7th, 2008 11:05 pmAs much as it's an overarching theme for the show in general, facades was a major point of this episode. Everything was surface and the tension underneath. How perfect everything appeared, but the reality beneath is anything but.
( It's perfect in every way. Except it doesn't play music. )
ION, True Blood isn't as bad as I thought it would be. It's actually kinda charming, although I do find myself a little annoyed by the stereotypical angry black woman. Tara's intelligent and obviously fierce but that defensiveness is like woah! I think the chemistry between Anna Paquin and Stephen Moyer is what's got me interested. Those two were burning up the screen. Too bad I don't have HBO, I'd give it a whirl, but well, my free preview is up after this weekend.
