On the Grammy's 2012 ...

Adele was stunning. No set pieces. No wardrobe changes. No crazy hair or make-up. Just her voice. She made it look so damn easy. Opened her mouth, blinked at the audience and ... effortless.


Even though it isn't the song she sang tonight, just because I love her so ...

I don't usually watch the grammy show but we did last night. Apart from a few shudderworthy things (Oh, why Glen Campbell? And what WAS that horrid croony eeee song by Paul McCartney??) it was actually pretty good. Loved LL Cool J because he was so damn cute --and I don't remember him being that adorkable. The tribute to Etta James -- OMG, Bonnie Raiitt is just *gasp* always!!

When Chris Brown performed, I bit my tongue and did not push D out of bed when she said "wow, he's really good," because that would have been a very bad thing. :-D I was sorely tempted, though, because JUST NO.

But Adele was the absolute best. She is so wonderful, chewing gum and wide-eyed and just....yeah, she is balm to my soul. Talk about gooseflesh! I gets them from her every time. :)
