You don't need to catch up! I hate feeling like I need to catch up because then it's just stressful instead of fun :o(

I'm sorry your classes sound uncool. That sucks. School is supposed to rock! But maybe you just have to look forward to getting out and doing fun stuff afterwards.

I'm good. A little sick. Umm. I feel like something is happening with me but I don't know what, so that's all I can say!

Oops! Sorry, no! I think my body is a-ok! Thanks for your concern.

our perspectives evolve and we don't see or understand things in quite the same way that we used to.

Which is so weird when it's the same thing, you know?

Is it weird that I quote Star Trek right now? Sorry.

No. I have this whole post waiting about how Star Trek is the religion of the future. . . . and by that I don't mean something ridiculous, actually. When you think about it, at least if you believe the things I do, religions like Christianity are big fandoms. Yeah, people believe parts of it are real, but the point is people are sharing this book and stories and they're inspired by it; they use it in their lives.

There are a lot of us these days who er, don't really believe in that. But it doesn't mean we look to books and stories less. I have my own personal books and shows and things which inform the way I look at life. And Star Trek has been that to many people. That's not to say I believe it should be elevated beyond what it actually is, but that it's alright to look to fiction for guidance.

Um. That was really long, sorry.

I don't know if any of that made any sense,

It did!

I hope that what *is* going on with you, whatever it is, turns out to be a good thing

I feel like it is! It may have something to do with trying to get all this writing finished. And I'm so happy to be doing fannish things again. However, I *have* noticed that these things seem to correspond to dissatisfaction at work and a severe lack of a social life . . .

I love your babble! I miss you!
