Will someone tell me exactly what it is that I'm supposed to be watching next season? My two favorite shows have been officially canceled! That sucks giant, hairy monkey balls. Life and Terminator were two of the best shows on the tube and now ... nothing! WTF?! I see how I can go back to Medium and Castle is vaguely entertaining, if insanely predictable, but that's really not enough to keep me interested and I'm still very leery about the success of Dollhouse. Not to mention that Fox has a hellacious track record with canceling the shows that I like.

WTF?! I mean, really?!

I am still devastated about "Life" my own self. :-(

I like "Heroes" and "Chuck," if you don't already watch those. "Better Off Ted" is also spiffy and quite hilarious. And I can recommend probably a hundred really awesome cancelled shows that're on DVD!

I know what you're saying about S3...I really do. I seriously almost did not make it through the first half. I actually did quit for three or four episodes there before a friend of mine started raving and I succumbed to temptation to see what she was so happy about. The second half made up for it IN SPADES. (Most credit this to Bryan Fuller, who returned after "Pushing Daisies" was cancelled.)

Pushing over. ;-)

In any case, I really do rec "Chuck." It's hilarious fun happy times! With super spies and stuff! (No, seriously.)

There's also "Better Off Ted," which seems to me what'd happen if "The Office" and "Arrested Development" had a drunken one night-stand and then the offspring they spawned was picked up by ABC.

I found out early that T:SCC was definitely getting the ax, so I had time to process. Bitter though.

However, I fell insanely in love with 'The Unusuals' actually thinking it was, for once, the kind of show that would get an easy renewal. HA! I was told (after I'd already fallen) that it was "toast" and yep, it is. I just hope they put the 10 eps on DVD with subtitling. I'm VERY bitter about this one.

Grrr.

Well I think Dollhouse did get better, with episode 6 (IIRC), and continued to be good after that. It just took so long to get good that I think people gave up. Also it seems like a very niche show. But being picked up for another 13 eps should at least mean it gets a nice story arc if nothing else ... if Joss maintains control, that is.
