OMG! I missed Heroes! Can you believe it?! Me, neither! It's stuck in my brain at 10pm when in actuality it starts at 9, a whole hour earlier!!! I was watching dumb ass Celebrity Fit Club: Women vs. Men for reasons beyond my ability to understand. Don't get me wrong, I had enormous fun mocking Dustin Diamond, but Screech is NOT worth missing Heroes. argh! Hopefully, my co-worker will burn me a copy for tomorrow and I won't have to languish Heroes-less all the way until Friday when it runs repeat on Sci-Fi Channel. Cross your fingers, kids!

In the meantime, I really had not intended to post today because well -- Hi, May, April was so like yesterday. No more National Poetry Month means no more poems and that means I am off the hook for posting all the time.

However, last night's tragedy not withstanding, I was lured back to the internet by the following meme gakked from a2zmom:

Name or describe three fics you think I will never, ever, ever write. In return, I will attempt to write a snippet of one of them. (Assuming, you know, that I have some idea what the fandom is, etc.)

That's totally happened to me! Thinking a show is on a whole hour later than it really is, so I miss it! ::crosses fingers for you::

Now, the fic meme: when I think of coming up with something I assume so-and-so would never write, I tend to think it would be something I would never READ, but if you're actually going to write snippets, it has to be something I'm not averse to while simultaneously being something you might never write if not for this meme.

So, just having fun here (maybe giving you a bit of a hard time):

1) A totally sane River ... what the girl genius would be if she'd never been kidnapped & had her brain messed with. Uncreepy but still supah smart. Your choice of situation. And it has to be non-dark!

2) BatB/BtVS crossover where Buffy & Catherine meet, fall in love, discover they're mostly-lesbian bisexuals who like having their respective boys on the side. And the boys are fine with it. ::SNERK:: And I want schmoopy lightness here too. Because I love you, I will let you decide who Buffy's "boy on the side" is. (Except... not Xander!)

I was going to go for a Heroes thing, but the season's almost over & don't want to mess with canon yet till I see what happens ...

3) Hah! What was that horrible SMG movie you complained about recently? How about a faux-meta thing where you get inside SMG's head & record her thoughts while making it. I want this one to be funny. (I guess you could only call this "fandom" by a stretch. SMG fandom? TWoP-ish fandom? You can ignore it if you like ...)

OMG! Those are awesome. What a way to challenge a girl. I nearly choked. I might have to give all three a swing because I'm not sure that I could write just one. Man! You and that devious brain of yours.

Btw, I am totally loving The Lie That Tells a Truth. It's pretty awesome. I haven't tried the writing excercises, yet, but I've been reading everything around the excercises and I really, really like it.

I find this meme difficult because most of the people who're doing it are awesome, adventuresome writers who seem like they'd try anything. So the only thing they wouldn't write is badfic! And in case it's not clear, I feel that you are such a person.

Screech! Slater/Screech would be very scary. NOT THAT I'M SUGGESTING THAT.

Are you ever going to write Catherine/Vincent? PSST I AM SUGGESTING THAT.

Slater/Screech would, indeed, be scary. Very, very scary. I wish that I had the balls for that, and also it's been more than a million years since I watched that show. Possibly, not since I was like fourteen. eek!

The Fic doesn't have Buffy/Angel/Dawn, as such, although ... I know exactly what to write for you! :)

I do read Harry Potter. I LOVE Harry Potter!! Harry Potter totally rules, although the fandom scares the bejesus out of me. Those dudes are rabid, yo. But I'd totally be up for giving it a go. Tell me what you want.

As for Catherine/Vincent. OMG. OMG!! That one might just break my head. It's so One True Love!!! I'll try though, will definitly give it a go. YAY! OMG!
