24. Christie – Gary Dourdan, Alien Resurrection
25. Liam Neeson – and I really can’t pick just one!!! (He’s going low on the list because I think a LOT of his vocal appeal is in the accent)
26. Margo Channing – Bette Davis, All About Eve (the husky cadence!!)

ETA: Cause I am a COMPLETE dumb ass and because I haven't hit 50 yet. I am adding in Clancy Brown, cause OMG!! Clancy Brown. How could I forget him. Let's stick him between ... Timothy Dalton and Johnny Messner, I think. Whoa! There's a man sandwich *I'd* like to get in the middle of.
ETA: Clancy Brown as ... John Danziger in Earth 2. How 'bout them apples.

Date: 2007-03-22 02:13 am (UTC)From:I don't think I knew you watched Gargoyles. Before BtVS/AtS Gargoyles and BatB were my All Time Favorite Shows and I thought nothing would ever beat them. Except for that weird stint where I was completely obsessed with Gilmore Girls for like 5 months and then completely stopped watching it.
I've seen Ladyhawke but don't remember the guy's voice.
Didn't know Micheal Wincott was in The Crow. I don't remember who this person is: Christie – Gary Dourdan, Alien Resurrection, but it's so weird there were so many Voices in Alien Resurrection. 'Cause with Wincott and also Perlman. Also, Winon Ryder has a very unique voice; I just don't think hers is sexy.
I can't believe I forgot Jessica Rabbit. First woman's voice I ever thought was *really* sexy, and I still do. Hey, I don't know what kinda music you listen to, but have you heard of Jill Tracy?
I also would've liked to've put Vin Deisel (zomg) and Laurence Fishburne on there. Also probably Ed Harris.
It's funny you put Galadriel, Katherine Hepburn, James Spader and Indiana Jones on there--I thought of all three of those but then decided that while I found the former two interesting, they weren't sexy. The latter two I just decided was too smooth.
Liam Neeson: I honestly believe it's not the accent because he does some things with less of an accent or tries to do no accent (he's not very good at it) and ZEE OH EM GEE. He just does this gutteral thing that's all guh and it makes me want my bunk.
I don't know who some of these people are. I am tickled by how many actresses/actors are the same on ours, though.

Date: 2007-03-22 04:01 pm (UTC)From:I know!! I love the idea of this cause I LOVE listening to people's voices. I remember once I was in line behind a guy in the bookstore and he was super masculine and really kinda cute and then he opened his mouth and had the littlest voice ever!! It was so weird. Like hearing David Beckham speak. He's SO gorgeous and then he talks and he sounds like a smurf. WTF?!
I don't think I knew you watched Gargoyles. Before BtVS/AtS Gargoyles and BatB were my All Time Favorite Shows and I thought nothing would ever beat them. Except for that weird stint where I was completely obsessed with Gilmore Girls for like 5 months and then completely stopped watching it.
I watched Gargoyles from jump. First day, first ep all the way through to the end, after Goliath and Eliza *finally* kinda got together. I still catch the re-runs late, late, late when I can't sleep on the Disney Channel.
I've seen Ladyhawke but don't remember the guy's voice.
I have loved Ladyhawke since I was like eight or something ridiculous. It's all One True Love and star-crossed lovers, jealousy, curses, danger and grand adventure. Love it!! Plus Rutger Hauer on that big black horse. Aiya!!
I don't remember who this person is: Christie – Gary Dourdan
Christie was the second in command. He had the guns up his sleeve and carried the one guy on his back when they had to leave his wheelchair (Dominique Pinon who is just a mah-va-lous actor)! He's a regular on CSI, I believe. One of the only people with dreds that I ever found attractive. Yummy, mummy!! You know whenever I think of Michael Wincot in that movie I always remember him talking to the other captain and saying something like: "She is severely fuckable" in reference to Call (Winona Ryder) and then he laughs and it's shivery, melty good.
I've never hard of Jill Tracy but does she have that smoky, husky, furry singer's voice. Cause that is all kinds of yay. I've recently fell in love with Cat Powers version of Wonderwall and I definitely want to hear more cause she's got that kind of voice on that song.
It's funny you put Galadriel, Katherine Hepburn, James Spader and Indiana Jones on there
You know ... I love deep voices and husky voices but there's something about cadence and enunciation that just gets me. Katherine Hepburn wouldn't usually be a pick, but as Tracy Lords, I just loved her. The way she spoke, the diction was *so* upper class East Coast, snapping and biting and I think it crosses over a little into who her character was, but it's tangled up enough that I wanted to include her. James Spader in Supernova had that same really deep voice, but you're right, smooth. Same with Ford. But there's something that just gets me. Galadriel is the same as Hepburn. Something about the *way* she says her lines, the way her mouth moves in addition to the actual sound of her voice that I just love.
Liam Neeson: He just does this guttural thing that's all guh and it makes me want my bunk.
Word. That is just the right way to put it!! The guttural quality. That burr down in is throat, OMG!!! And I love when he has to be all choked up or emotional because his voice totally drops down into his chest .... okay *fans self*
I am tickled by how many actresses/actors are the same on ours, though.
I highlighted the people on your list that I loved, too. :) And if you haven't heard Johnny Messner speak, you're missing out. Anacondas is a truly craptastic movie, but dude, that guy has such a voice on him.

Date: 2007-03-22 04:31 pm (UTC)From:Me too. I have a voice fetish. I'm never attracted to the way a man looks at-first-sight, but voices can totally do me in at-first-hear. Never heard Beckham speak; that's too bad.
after Goliath and Eliza *finally* kinda got together
!!They did? I never got to see the later shows (school was at the wrong time) and I never catch reruns 'cause I don't have the Disney channel. I'm buying the dvds, though, as soon as I recover from buying a new laptop.
I love the concept of Ladyhawke but I remember being a little disappointed in the execution. It should've been a tv series, I think.
Oh! CSI guy! I forgot he was in Alien Res! Yeah, he does have a great voice. And great eyes. And great skin. And great hands. I like to gay him all up when I watch CSI.
If you feel comfortable giving me your address, I'll burn Jill Tracy for you. Her appeal is twofold: 1. sounds kinda like Jessica Rabbit, 2. WHAT she sings is exactly what Drusilla would sing. If Drusilla, you know, sang anything but creepy lullabys and nursery rhymes.
Something about the *way* she says her lines, the way her mouth moves in addition to the actual sound of her voice that I just love.
Yeah, it's amazing, in the end, how difficult it is to separate voice/accent/delivery/character. Same with appearance too though, for me. I tend to be way more into a delivery I like than the way an actor looks.
And I love when he has to be all choked up or emotional
I know! I feel kinda bad because the end of Schindler's List, where he's breaking down 'cause he could've saved more, is so meaningful and powerful and yeah, and all I can think is: ZOMG he's so hot.
Johnny Messner
I'll have to rent it, just for him.

Date: 2007-03-22 05:01 pm (UTC)From:Beckham's voice is seriously tragic. He's so manly and beautiful and sweaty and testosterone and then he talks .... such a bummer. Ruins everything!
And I *totally* didn't meant to spoil you for the last season of Gargoyles. It was a weird sort of getting together. A lot changed about the show I think. It wasn't the same and I remember that I lost interest soon after the last (third?) season started
Ladyhawke is so cheesealicious. Not quite as much as say BatB, but close enough. Plus it's got the 80's music thing going, but I don't know Matthew Broderick was so adorable and Michelle Pfiffer was beautiful and not too skinny yet.
I tend to be way more into a delivery I like than the way an actor looks.
There are only two actors who have inspired instant lust in me that had nothing to do with talent: Tom Welling and Taye Diggs. So.Pretty. But after that there's got to be *something* in the way of acting ability or personality or, y'know, Talent. Talent goes a really long way. I am in LOVE with Al Pacino and for no other reason than he is fiercely talented cause that man is so *not* attractive.

Date: 2007-03-22 05:15 pm (UTC)From:Ladyhawke has the worst soundtrack of any movie in existence, imo. I read something somewhere once that there was a dvd release of it with an alternate soundtrack. I forgot Broderick was in it.
I must here restate my opinion that Tom Welling looks like a barn silo filled with nothing but grain. Diggs is pretty hot but I have no instant lust. I'm trying to think of *any* actor I've had intant lust for, and can't seem to.
I dunno. young!Al Pacino in The Godfather is pretty hot. Especially at the end when he's all scary. *especially* if he was bending Robert Duvall's character over a desk. 0_o
