The Cat likes to lick books and paper. I always forget about it until I see her doing it, hear the rasp, rasp, rasp of her tongue on pulp, and then I'm all OMG that's SO annoying will you please stop.

She looks at me rather remotely and then continues.

Also?
Yesterday I caughter her chasing her tail. I kid you not.

I love kitties! Never met one that liked to lick paper, though. Sitting on it, though, seems to be a common passtime ...

Our bunny Bingo tears papers into shreds if we leave it on the floor. Silly girl.

I love how they bring you dead mice, because you *obviously* don't know how to hunt for yourself. Or when they play mom-cat and bring you one that isn't quite dead yet so you can learn.

Such a weird conversation for a vegetarian to have ... sheesh. ;)

My dad used to complain because the cats would chase mice all over the house, but wouldn't just plain kill 'em. They were enjoying it too much, apparently (back when they were young & frisky). And Sebastian would prowl through the ivy outside looking for lizards, and bite 'em in half.

On the other hand, they adjusted perfectly well to my having pet guinea pigs, and I could let the piggies run about without worrying that the cats might pounce. I'd hold a piggie and a cat on my lap at the same time for awhile, sometimes.

I love that pampered little housecats are the Most Extreme Cat. Awesome.
