SciFi canceled Farscape in favor of SG-1 because ... why?

Was it really amazing in past seasons, and this season is just slow? Or is it that Farscape is the better show? Cause, dude, I'm just *not* getting it.

I, mean, yay! Holy War and Shady Gods. Didn't we do this once before. Okay, okay, I'm not up on the specifics, admittedly. But, dude! WHY is Julian Sands doing this. Geez! Someone! Help!

I do not have cable.

I shall be watching Farscape for the first time with _tallian_ if we have time during my visit at the end of this month (but I bet I'll buy the DVDs for myself, or at the very least rent them, when I get back home).

I don't know from SG-1, but Julian Sands was one of my first actor crushes. WTF happened to his career anyway? Although I knew it had gone in the toilet when I saw him in "Warlock" ... *facepalm*

omg! I lurve Warlock!! My Julian Sands toliet moment was Rose Red. I mean he was doing Stephen King, for gods sake. A Stephen King made-for-TV movie at that. I was astounded. And shamed. My love for Julian Sands knew shame.

I'll have to rent Boxing Helena and try to remember the deep and abiding love.

Hee! I think based on your lurve, I'll have to rent "Warlock" just to see if it was really so bad. I mean, I saw it in the theater and it was so long ago ... I'm a wuss, and I admit I sorta "checked out" when he bit out the guy's tongue. Eurgh. I have a stronger tummy for such grossitude now ... I think ...

But did you ever see him in Tale of a Vampire (http://imdb.com/title/tt0105527/)? IMO that could've been such a much better movie, but Julian was so compelling nevertheless ... definitely rent this if you haven't seen it already.

I did rent "Boxing Helena" and I'm not sure I agree it was as bad as everyone said. It was weird and interesting. And then there was the weird and interesting "Gothic" and "Siesta" ... damn, I never do get enough Julian. Those movies just make me wanna see more of him. They give a delicious dark taste but never a full meal.

I never did watch "Rose Red," so I have no idea how much that sucked ...
