It's November! Among other exciting things like NaNoWriMo and Thanksgiving, it is also the month of the IWRY Marathon. YAY! Our beloved chrisleeoctaves is having a much deserved chill and this year it's being run by darkstar and librarian2003.

Way back last year, I think, lynnenne annexed a prompt to me and I didn't really do it justice. Sorry, lynnenne, I really did try. If you ever want to take the prompt back and write something with it, or offer it up to someone else who needs a prompt, I completely understand. Even I read it and cringe a little.

A/N: Written for the 2010 IWRY Marathon from a prompt by lynnenne. Unfortunately, I didn't quite live up to the prompt even though tkp really worked hard to get me there. Talking of angels, thanks to tkp for the beta.

This is the fic that ate my brain and killed me. The result is less than what I wanted, but way more than it was the day that I missed my IWRY deadline. Sorry again, Chris.

It was also a learning process. What I learned?

1. The creative process is a bitch. (like I didn't already know that, but I like to be reminded from time to time)
2. Google Maps is beautiful thing.
3. So is Google Docs.
