I should have read it earlier, but Firefox crashed and I didn't reload my to-read list. I thought it was beautifully bleak, and loved this line: "The lies that Willow told herself to make things better crumble beneath the heaviness of sky."

'sokay. *sigh* I'm trying desperately to get over my addiction to feedback. Getting over fandom in general has been way easier. But the feedback thing? Not so much.

Thanks, though, for reading and commenting. If you haven't read the original I'd definitly suggest reading Kyra's The Sky Has Claws which was the inspiration.

Oh wow, how lovely and chilling and awful. I'm so flattered you ran with this idea! You've always had a knack for fics about dying -- I think of one of your earliest stories, whose title I've forgotten, but which was like a punch in the gut -- and this was so terrible and right.

I love love love your vision of Willow here. "Willow cannot be re-imagined." The matter of fact awfulness of "the world continues to end," and her voice breaking on "I miss you." How I mostly don't believe Oz is even really there, which hurts all the more, but I want him to be as badly as she does. And most especially the last line. Oh oh oh. Heartbreaking.

Hey, thanks. Sorry about borrowing your universe. After I read The Sky Has Claws I was sorely tempted. I was supposed to turn it in for the backup fic for the willowficathon and panicked. I was also unsure how to end it because I didn't want to actually kill off Willow since this version of her didn't belong to me. I was hoping that the end would read so that you're not sure if Oz is actually there or not. Glad to know that it worked.

Again, I apologize for hijacking your 'verse. Damnit, you did too great a job and it was *SO* tempting as to be completely irristible.
