I'm not sure, but if the rest of the year lives up to the promise of the last couple of weeks I'll be repeating year's birthday next year. Cause so far 2004 pretty much sucks. 2005 may just have to be 27, Part II. It's still early so I guess we'll have to wait and see.
Yesterday was mighty quiet and on the grand scale of birthday celebrations since 16, not including the tragedy of my 18th birthday, it was very uneventful. Pigskin made me dinner, however - chicken enchiladas from scratch - and a birthday cake. He even decorated it. Cletus got up and made me breakfast with his very own 18 year old hands. I was very impressed. My cousin and aunt serenaded me over the phone and my cousin's precocious 3 year-old wasn't to be outdone, breaking into a very respectable rendition of the Birthday Song.
I'd also like to extend BIG hugs and MIGHTY thank-you's to
violetsmiles and
moonwhip for the birthday wishes. You gals are the swellest!! Thanks for rememembering! :)

Date: 2004-01-27 06:26 am (UTC)From:It just barely skipped by. Yesterday was the day of doom. :) No worries.
But, maybe next year or possibly (if things pick up) sometime between July and August I'll relive the moment.
