A/N: 100 words written for the First Impression(s) prompt at open_on_sunday. Spoiled for AtS: Salvage.

Connor is barely grown-up. Stupid puppy, more anger and libido than anything else. Faith knows the attitude, recognizes the snarl on his heavy mouth and the way he crowds close. He wants to throw himself against the baddest son of a bitch he can find. Faith recognizes the flavor of that rage. Connor wants to burn out.

He's waiting for her to knock him down. He wants to grapple, his hands on her body. She could bloody his nose and break his ribs, and he'd get right back up and beg her to hurt him just a little bit more.

Faith is a warrior, and Connnor's cock goes hard the moment she crosses the threshold.

"Listen up, junior. When I need a blood hound, I'll call you."

Connor's sulking, red mouth curls into a smirk, and he wonders if she realizes that he can smell the spicy-metallic, bitter-pungent scent of marigold and iron pooling between her thighs.

When Faith gets in his face, Connor stiffens. All he wants to do is beat the shit out of her, and fuck her. He itches with need. Connor isn't sure that he'd win in a fight, but he wants to try her anyway.

Me, either, but Salvage was on this morning and I went with it. They're not as polished as I would have liked, but I found myself bogged down in everything I wanted to say about the pairing. And, hey, 100 words and I had no patience on these. Lol!

I'm glad that they feel true, though. Thanks! And are you writing in the HP fest you posted? I'm tempted, but I'm not sure how well I'd do friendship ...

I'd like to, but it depends on what gets prompted. Honestly, usually when I sign up for a fest it's because I have some ideas, and want incentive to get them on paper. I have a Harry-and-Draco friendship thing I'd love to write, then two other ideas (Molly and Narcissa, Draco and Rosmerta) I'm not sure qualify (more about redemption than friendship), but I'm not sure I'll have time.

I think you would be awesome awesome awesome at friendship. I think your lyricism and vivid imagery lends itself to a lot of things, actually. If you need any help or want to bounce any ideas around I would love to do that any time with you.

Write now I'm trying to finish a fic for a Faith fest I signed up for. Faith! She makes her rounds :o)

Faith is pretty much the awesome. I remembered that this morning.

As for HP, I'm all about unexpected pairings lately, but I have no idea who I would write about. I've got loose ideas about an Angelina/George post-Deathly Hollows fic. But that's romantic and then there's a Harry/Luna 2nd person POV piece that might work to make the first to HP pieces a triptych. After that ... I got nothing.

I like the idea of a Draco/Rosmerta piece. I can see how redemption and friendship can inform each other (see Angel/Faith), but I get you on the prompt incentives.

Oh, writing!!! I have missed it.
