So, I did some looking and there are a few things that I am willing to take a gander at, none of which, I think, will survive to a second season. La! That is the mO of things that I enjoy. Besides, most of them with maybe one exception look like they aren't especially good or I will get bored very quickly.

Glee -- Adorkable, but I can already see myself boring of this one.
V -- WTF?! I can't pass it up. I LOVED the mini-series from back in the day. Plus, Morena Baccarin and Alan Tudyk. I can kinda see it being interesting but getting canceled pretty quickly a la Invasion.
Happy Town -- This would be my one exception. It looks actually really good.
Flash Forward -- I predict that the "Lost"-ishness of the plot will drive me out of my tree and that I will give up.
Day One
Parenthood -- I will watch an ep or two purely for the pleasure of Dax Sheppard, but I don't see myself lasting. I LOVED Brothers and Sisters and still couldn't make the commitment.
Eastwick -- Despite the cheesy horror of it all.
Cougar Town -- Which might actually be my other exception.
Vampire Diaries -- Will undoubtedly keep my initial attention through the sublime prettiness of Ian Sommerhalder. Although that, too, is no guarantee. I gave up on Smallville season one because Tom Welling was so distractingly pretty that I couldn't follow the plot.

Of the things that survived the cuts, Medium (Which is moving from NBC to CBS. I do not watch CBS AND it's on a Friday.) and Castle (That is entertaining but predictable and is already beginning to lose the shiny brought on my love of Nathan Fillion). Then there is Dollhouse that is so convoluted that I just don't know. Plus ... still not loving the format. BUT, like Fox, I am willing to give Joss the benefit of the doubt. With the exception of Firefly it took a good season for him to find his legs with his other shows.

How. Sad. But maybe all of this non-tv watching time will be devoted to making my 50 book goal. There's the silver lining.

They're remaking "V?!" With Morena Baccarin and Alan Tudyk?!

ASFDJAKAJAWEJEA ON WHAT FUCKING NETWORK? I must know! If this is not on a channel I get, I will WEEP. I am so beyond sold, bb.

Have you considered getting into non-U.S television? 'Cause I didn't think to mention this earlier, but I am so head over heels for "Black and White," a LOLicious Taiwanese procedural dramedy that it is not even funny.

P.S. Why no CBS? They have "CRIMINAL MINDS!"

I just watched the clips. I am optimistic! I am not sure whether this is a good or bad thing. ;-)

Hehe...I think we're different TV watching types. You have no idea how hard it was for me when I first got into a couple shows by watching them streaming, and suddenly, I had to actually--GASP!--wait for the broadcasts like everyone else. I just prefer watching stuff on my computer in general. (This may be more than my inability to make real TV conform to my schedule--I'm sure the fact that I get better sound and picture on my computer than on my television has something to do with it.)

Procedurals aren't really my cup of tea in general, but "Criminal Minds" is...it's just "Criminal Minds!" (I describe "Life" this way to people, too. Is it any wonder I suck at converting people to my shows? ;-)) It has Hotch and Reid and Morgan and Garcia! (The latter three are my favorites. Garcia has the most endearing personality of any woman on any series I currently watch, and on the political side of things, I have to say that I really love that the most loveable woman on the show is the chubby computer nerd--and that she's not a desexualized mom figure, but a young, wild thing with multi-colored stripes in her hair who flirts nearly as much as Jack Harkness and canonically has kinky sex with another tech guy--who, did I mention, is played by Nic Brendon?

Reid and Morgan are both almost as adorable, and they are hot. Allow me to emphazie (http://images.buddytv.com/usrimages/usr3436283/3436283_matt.jpg) that they're hot. (http://i227.photobucket.com/albums/dd235/2smiley4u/y%20n%20r/ShemarMoore2.jpg?t=1242888703))

Aww! Thank you! :-) You're not that late- it was only yesterday! (Or, I guess, day before yesterday, now that it's after midnight...)
