Best Fic of 2008

I can't say that my fic reading habits have improved. It's actually, and if I admit it, gotten worse. Still, this is a tradition and here it goes.

My short list of the best fic I've read for 2008. As always, it isn't the best/my favorite fic written this year, it's what I *read* this year. To be honest, I've also been pretty sloppy about keeping track of what I've read this year, so I'm hoping that I haven't left anything out. Enjoy!!
