Babe! This was harder than I thought it would be. I like the subjects you chose, however. But I had to THINK about it.
5 fandoms
1. Buffy the Vampire Slayer -- Yes, this will always and forever be my number one fandom. It's what got me *into* fandom in the first place. I mean, really interested in the fannish exchange of ideas about a source/canonical text.
2. Angel -- Because for me it really isn't possible to separate Angel from Buffy. ;)
3. Farscape is where I learned to be intimidated by the amazing talent and minds that fandom brought to my experience and understanding of television and media. And nothing really gets as dark as Farscape.
4. Firefly
5. Roswell because everyone's got that one sappy, semi-embarrassing back of the closet fandom. Roswell is mine.
5 Anti-heroes
Dude!! This was SO DAYUM difficult.
1. Raistlin Majere from the Dragonlance books. Raistlin broke my heart back in the day when I was still young and sweet. He was mad, bad and dangerous! Raistlin is where I REALLY discovered my adoration of the anti-hero. The guy who is so much more than just bad.
2. Jared -- Labyrinth. Yeah, I know David Bowie in a codpiece and fairy hair.
3. Faith -- BtVS. You didn't think she'd NOT make it onto the list, did you? Cause Faith always was made of awesome and always makes my girlcrush list.
4. Riddick, Richard B. -- Mostly Pitch Black because The Chronicles of Riddick was SO commercial. But Pitch Black ... with the voice and the eyes and every man for himself, I will kill you attitude!
5. Leon -- The Professional. I almost didn't want to include him, but let's face it. For all that he has plants and drinks milk, Leon is a Professional Hitman.
And an honorable mention for Farscape's Scorpius. Also a special, super, uber honorable mention for Milton's Satan/Lucifer in Paradise Lost
5 Non-Fictional Inspirational Women
1. My mom -- Even though it's cheesy to say so. She raised six kids on her own and for the first half of my life we lived in the Hood. Watts hood, South Central hood. She worked her ass off to move us into the suburbs and to give us a chance. Everyone graduated high school. Two of us went to college. I have an advanced degree and Pigskin is now in Dental School. No one was in gangs, on drugs, had kids, or in jail. We were good kids.
2. Katherine Hepburn because she did it her way and on her own terms.
3. Bette Davis because she's another maverick who did things the way that she wanted to do them.
4. Carolyn Dinshaw -- Professor at NYU, she practically invented gender-queer studies as they relate to medieval and Chaucerian studies. Fantastically and scarily intelligent, I wish that I could have her brain.
5. I got nothing ...
5 Words in the English Language
I wasn't sure how to qualify this category, so I chose words that I love to say.
1. putrid
2. luscious
3. shenanigans
4. fuck -- I know, I know. I still love it, though.
5. crimson
5 Outfits I Own
1. Purple cotton mini-dress with the square neckline. I wear it with these adorable uber flat black flip-flops with a round shell decorating the top of the thong between the toes.
2. White lace/eyelet tube top (that I got for 6.99 at Ross that one time for Fourth of July) paired with dark wash jeans and tall platform shoes. Makes my legs look miles long and gives me height, yo!
3. Electric Blue Charlotte Russe tube dress that NO LONGER FITS DAMNIT!! paired with these gold amazon platform wedges.
4. Brown and Orange empire waisted dress with brown peep-toe heels decorated with buckles at the toe.
5. Gray, knee length pencil skirt with my orange sleeveless shell and gray, faux snake skin Joey stilettos. My curves kick ass in this outfit, plus hello legs!
5 Cocktails
1. Palomas
2. Margarita on the rocks with salt
3. Captain Morgan and Coke (not Pepsi, Coca-Cola)
4. Tuaca Bombs (specifically, despite what you may be offered, a shot of Tuaca dropped into a half pint of Rockstar)
5. Grey Goose and Soda with a splash of Squirt and a lime

Date: 2008-10-08 03:58 am (UTC)From:RAISTLIN. OMG, have I talked to you about him? Dude, Raistlin is in my huge B/A epic thing! I--I haven't read the books, L. He's in there as a joke--he's my go-to fantasy nerd antihero. My friend from 6th grade was in love with him! (I only realize much later I sorta had a crush on her and that's why I remembered with whom she was in love...)
I love that you chose Jared for much the same reasons...
YAY FAITH.
I left the favorite words one purposely wide open. Have you heard of wordie? It's like flikr except with words--that's it's tagline anyway. You make lists of your favorite words and then you can click on the words in your list to see who else has that as his/her favorite words, and then you can see *that* person's list. It's awesome. Anyway, I'm torn on that site because there are words I love for their meanings and then words I love for their sounds. Luckily you can tag your words so I have two lists on there! I'm a great big dork, aren't I. Anywho, I love the word fuck as well. Good tough Anglo Saxon word! Someone told me recently fuck originally meant "make love" but because the Norman version of things was always considered the politer, classier speech, "fuck" became the crass version of things by default! Who knows.
Your outfits sound so cute! Especially the purple dress and the empire waist dress....This is because they are dresses. I love dresses, just not so much on me.
Hmm, never had a Paloma or Tuaca Bomb or Grey Goose (that I know of. Who the hell knows what I had that night?) I know very few drinks, but wish I knew more...I keep trying to expand my repetoire.
Thanks for doing this! Your answers were so interesting, per usual.

Date: 2008-10-08 06:01 am (UTC)From:Tuaca Bombs are for those nights out that deserve shots that are not Tequila or Jager. When you want to have something yummy but with a little kick. Tuaca tastes like butterscotch. We DID NOT do Tuaca bombs that night and I had not yet had the pleasure of a Paloma. You probably had Finlandia if you had vodka because that's ZuZuQ's brand and she expensed the whole night. YAY for friends in the biz!! The trick to vodka drinks is to ALWAYS request the brand because if you don't then they'll give you the cheapest shit in the house and that will ruin your drink. So your order is always a Grey Goose Cran, Sky (which is horrible by the way) and Soda, Finlandia and Tonic, etc. I would do that with rum as well. So, I always order a Captain and Coke as opposed to a Rum and Coke.
Another excellent drink is a Bacardi Limon Mojito or a Bacardi Orange with Soda and a splash of Cran. Oh, nummy. I would love a cocktail right about now, if it SO WERE NOT time for bed.
I read the Dragonlance Legends when I was in, fifth grade, I think. I was IN LOVE with Raistlin in all of his twisted, broken, morally ambiguous glory. He was so shattered and wrong, but all you wanted to do was SAVE him!
The mini-dress is so short that's it's almost TOO short. Especially draped over the curve of MY particular hips. I forget about the brevity of the hem and want to run around in bars. For that dress I always have to remember to wear really cute underwear. Which reminds me that I owe
