So, I'm on page 67 of 260, the beginning of chapter 7, and this is possibly one of the most boring books in the history of like ever.

There's a lot of smirking, good-looking and mysterious Edward. Clumsy, sarcastic, attractive and mean Bella. Plenty of non-descript bodies in the background meant to be her new friends and Jacob just showed up to tell her all about the treaty between the Indians and the Cullens.

This isn't nearly as much fun to read as I thought it would be, even for the lulz! It's just really kinda bad. And boring.

It's pretty boring, but it reads really quickly. I actually don't think I'd find it nearly as entertaining if 1) my_daroga wasn't reading it with me, and 2) it wasn't so popular. It's not that it being popular makes it better, it just increases the WTF factor 10000%. Every page is like, "wow, people are into this?"

I have to say that Twilight is the worst writing, then New Moon, then Eclipse, and Breaking Dawn is turning out to be the best (again, writing-wise. That is not saying much. AT ALL). Insofar as the concepts involved, Twilight was the least offensive and relatively tame in comparison. Now as I read Breaking Dawn I'm really positively grossed out and sickened (and I was pretty sickened by Twilight, and worse by New Moon. Though Eclipse is pretty equivalent to New Moon on the sick-out scale).
