A/N Among the many things that struck me during the recent re-watch of Season 1 on Hulu is how much Buffy wasn't anticipating re-living the whole Chosen One thing. That look on her face when she found the bite marks on the body from the locker said it all. So, here I focused on the things that say tragedy in terms of the direction that her new life was supposed to take and didn't. I wanted to focus on The Master and Giles as the two forces that will not allow her to live a "normal" life regardless of what she wants.

So, it's rough. I haven't done fanart in a very long while. Anywho! Here goes.

Thank you! I'm not exactly happy with that lower right hand corner. I didn't desaturate the book enough, but overall it's a good beginning, I think.

Thanks! That image really struck me as I was re-watching WttH. SMG's face was so full of dread in comparison to her hopes for a fresh start, etc.
