I KNOW, right! I aced the interview by the way. They love me and want me for a second interview. Alas, I have to turn them down because they're in Beverly Hills -- two traffic hours away -- and I don't want to move into Shangri L.A.
LOL. You should have seen me in the interview I had for this job. I was probably the most downbeat, unforthcoming, and plank-like I've ever been in an interview. I got hired because my sister recommended me. And I cheerfully continue to fail at personality.
Don't worry - if you were Buffybot enough for the recruiter, you might actually frighten the interviewers!
That's what I said. I don't giggle. In the interview I explained that I can be a little reserved at first, but give me two or three weeks and I'm all aces!
I get told that too. But I've learned that unless you act like a cheerleader of crack, you're not upbeat and personable enough. So I am my grumpy self.
