This is an old piece, completed back in 2005, I think. Kendra was such a soldier. She was also so detached and distanced; Kendra was the job in a way that Buffy wasn't and never became. I wanted to reflect the idea of the kind of chaos and lonliness that could be hidden behind that disconnect.
