Fat Tuesday! I am calling YOUR name.

katherine_b. She's all academia, yo! and has just been accepted into the PhD program. Ya'll go and congratulate her. She's living the dream, my peeps. Living the dream. *sigh*
Secondly! For the first time in three years I will not be going down to San Diego for Fat Tuesday.No wild revelry and hot monkey sex for me. No siree, bob.
Why, you ask? Well, I've got work, kittens. The bills, damn them, won't pay themselves and no matter how I try to ignore them they just keep coming. So here I am, tied to my desk without the promise of tequila shots and shiny plastic beads at the end of the day. There will be no beard burn and no hangover. Sin and ZuzuQ are still going, but ZuzuQ has an 11am meeting, so there will be no shenanigans for her either.
What happened to us? We were wild and crazy kids only a year ago. When did we grow up? WHY did we grow up? And how do we make it stop.
But never fear, I am still your number one good time party gal! We've got Happy Hour on Friday, despite the rain and St. Patrick's Day is turning out to be a WHOLE THING. Sin is taking off work to hit the bars at noon. There's a parade on Saturday and I'm staying the weekend. Then there's the summer, at which point I will be showing off my hot new bod. Sin and I are also planning a wild Fourth of July in Cancun.
