Apple Bottom Jeans, Boots with the Fur

This weekend I:

- Bought the bride's maid dress Sin picked out. I will need to have it shortened as I am only 5'4" and the length makes me look shorter. It's still early, but I am partial to these shoes or these or these.

- Danced until my feet hurt.

- Almost kissed a boy.

- Ate until I almost popped.

- Coming from a place of complete and utter vanity and privelege, I would like to say that sometimes I get tired of being the hot one. Sometimes, I'd like to be the cute one.

Firstly, I've seen the photographs, so we *know* you're the beautiful one.
Secondly, take my word for it, just don't be the hot one.

I'm not beautiful! I'm moderately pretty, I'm not going to be modest, but I'm definitely not beautiful.

No worry about being the hot one. I have all the sex appeal of a damp rag.

I maintain!! I've seen the photographic evidence and you've got the hair and those eyes, gorgeous cheekbones. Lips! But, if you insist, you can be the pretty one. You'll have to drop the moderately though. ;)

OMG! Me, too!!!!! I was trying to go low on the heel, like 2 1/4" but I really don't think it's going to happen. Especially considering THAT shoe! :D

That is definitely not the worst bridesmaid's dress I've ever seen. Very nice.

I have never been the hot one. Luckily, I both am and prefer to be cute. I mean, between the two options.

It's a bit of an Easter egg, but I'll shorten the dress to just above the knees and maybe I can wear it to a Christmas party down the line. Winter, everyone will be in darker shades so I'll pop like the poppingest thing.

The conotations associated with various adjectives as they refer to attractiveness is an interesting thing. How vain am I, right?! Not terribly actually and I'd still rather be the cute one. ;)
