Eye Strain sucks! Is that one word or two, by the way. Feeling much better. Got an appointment with the eye doctor for next Saturday.

Despite the initial improbability I am watching Mad Men. The familial dysfunction is fascinating. Watching the way that the women react to each other is fascinating. It also helps me not gouge out my eyeballs because the men are so ...

Still kinda in love with Miss Mencken. I'm tickled pink by Saffron who is still pretty hot and built like a woman should be, all curves!

I've always seen it as one word: eyestrain. Dictionary.com has either eyestrain or eye-strain. I've never seen the latter used, though.

And regarding Mad Men, the men are so ... WHAT??! What are they that makes you wanna gouge out your eyeballs?

I haven't checked this show out because I do not want to have to watch Sixties attitudes towards women. Blah.

The Sixties attitude is exactly why I want to gouge my eyes out. The racist, sexist, classist, misogynistic attitudes make my head want to pop. It's difficult watching, but strangely compelling. This most recent episode did it for me and, I think, it has more to do with the way that the women interacted with each other than anything else. Their attitudes were a reminder that not every woman was or is a feminist and that feminism was a sort of dirty word for a long time.
