It's that time of year again. The end and with the close of 2006 fast approaching I offer you my short list of the best fic I've read this year. Once again these are not necessarily fic written in 2006. I read them this year and fell utterly in love with them. In a repeat of last year there is no [livejournal.com profile] glossing as she seems to have moved onto Comicverse fic. Woe and Alas. But it appears to have been that sort of year; [livejournal.com profile] moireach became deeply enamored of The Office and abandoned me completely.

This year has been the skinniest I've ever spent in terms of reading and writing fic, largely because I STILL do not have internet at my little apartment but we're looking out to rectify that come 2007.

In the meantime, in no particular order, please enjoy my short list for the year's best fic 2006

I'm sorry! I...well, I'm not exactly sorry, except insofar as it affects *you*, my most glittery darling.

I'm sure there's older stuff of mine you haven't read yet? Or, really. I could bribe you with comics. :D

Ooh, those were all really, really good! :-) I've been obsessively in love with "Losing My Religion" in particular for a couple years now...I can practically recite the whole thing, it's sad. ;-)

Out of curiosity, have you read Kita's "Manus"? It's equally beautiful and touching, relatively new and she says it's the fic "Losing My Religion" was supposed to be.

Happy New Year!
