My brother gets ear infections all the time, and he's in his twenties. But he usually just goes to the doctor, I think.

TKP, does your brother have any advice for OTC remedies & such? Given that Sera doesn't have health insurance ...

I don't know anything from personal experience, but maybe Googling could help. You never know with the altie remedies, though.

Hearing in stereophonic sound is NICE.

Go to a clinic and they'll write you a scrip. Don't let it go until you have stabby stabby pain. (Oh ho, have I done that...)

Oh, my buttercup! It was the strangest thing! I went home on Friday and resolved to wait to see if it got worse, but it never did. By Saturday I was just annoyed that I couldn't hear on account of the cotton ball in my ear. I took it out in the afternoon and I was a-okay!

I admit to not getting it, but boy am I glad that this was only a mild irritant because I LIKE hearing.

In other news, I now have hair down to my ASS! YAY!
