Although not everyone does, I like the way that Glee re-purposes songs.
Finn singing Bruno Mars's Just the Way You Are as a tribute to his mom and her new husband, and as a familial love song to his new brother, Kurt, was pretty damn awesome. (Although I wish he had changed the "she" to "man" or something similar. Referring to a homosexual male as a she seems too cliched for the point of the episode.)I teared up a couple of times -- from that awesome wedding processional, which was indeed the best wedding processional ever in the history of Ever to Kurt and his dad waltzing.
On the downside, Carol Burnett and the Sue/Sue wedding were completely distracting and I didn't get the point of it. Glee's continued focus on guest stars has started to get annoying. It pulls away from the main storyline and distracts from the show, in general. Still, Sue's Track Suit Wedding Gown of Awesome was phenomenal, and arguably worth the distraction of Carol Burnett. As was Sue herself (as per usual).
