moireach introduced me to Silvia Kundera's Sixteen in Bulgaria I have been pining. PINING!! And the rabidity of the HP fandome scares me to the point that I dare not go out in search of fic on my own. I don't want to lose any body parts. So, rec me silly!!! But let's make it good people! I mean REALLY good. I don't want things in which Ginny Weasly is dating Tonks and calling her Nymph unless it's like AMAZING! You see where I'm going with this?

Sixteen in Bulgaria by Silvia Kundera. post-Goblet of Fire. It's one of the best of the HP I've read I think.
