At the age of 40, I decided what I really wanted to be when I grow up: a chef. This has not changed my plans to be one, but it's nice to know finally. :)

Whoa! Fascinating! That's some gap there in majors. Now, I'm curious to find out how on Earth you came up with such disparate majors.

Hard to explain, but the short version is that I love to act and sing, but don't like working for myself and having no health insurance. So I went back to school for engineering, which I thought would be the most practical application of physics, which is another thing I really enjoy. Turns out I don't have a passion for it. Eh.

Right now I'm on a writing kick. Works with my reading addiction, anyway!

Ummm. A little something, any old thing at all. But I'm trying to come up with something I probably haven't mentioned in my LJ so's it'll be new and interesting ...

I'm bisexual and didn't figure this out until about two years ago. And I'm not going to repeat how old I am because it's damn embarrassing it took me that long. However, there was no angst involved whatsoever, so there's that.

And now for something completely different: Everytime I go with my little sister for a pedicure, she suggests I get jeweled flowers painted on my big toes, and I always say "well sure, why not?" and so whenever I get a pedicure I have fancy floral jeweled big toes and I don't even know if this is a fashion thumbs up or thumbs down. I may be a walking "Don't" and not know it. But I think it's cute. So there. ;)

You ROCK!! I love girls with fancy stuff on their big toes. My good friend Bingo!Betty does it and I think it's adorable. It's such a great little example of individuality. It's girly AND sexy. Girls in summer sandals with shiny toe nails, sparkling with jewels. Love it.
