Also, As much as it is bound to suck, as these things tend to do on *some* level, I'm looking forward to Honey. I know, me and my freaky fascination with dance movies. But at least there will be hotness: Jessica Alba of the hot body and hotter lips and scrumptious Mekhi Phifer of the even hotter body and hottest lips. There will be gyration and gratuitous belly shots, check out the trailer if you don't believe me.

Then there's Dirty Dancing: Havana Nights, which just looks particularly painful, is also on the list. I just know it's going to require a trip to Cuba shortly following the premiere.

I blame it all on those MGM musicals I watched as a child. If you want to avoid my fate, kiddies, remember that Singin' in the Rain is not your friend. No. Turn the channel now. Well, maybe not now. Wait until after the "Gotta Dance" flashback, oh, and then you can't miss Debbie Reynolds popping out of that pink cake at the party, and then there's the lip synching part and the actual *song* Singin' in the Rain . . . and, and, and. Brother. I guess you should just watch the whole thing.
