Thank you! Ha!! I love that you highlighted that line. The original impetus was what happened in the Buffy-verse if Cordelia re-set the timeline. So, Buffy came to L.A. with Dawn and then Angel could see how Dawn wasn't right and while the gang was out taking care of Glory, Angel killed Dawn. Only then Buffy died and when she CAME BACK months later is when she finds out about Dawn. But then it's been so long and she's lost so much that she can't move forward or back. That was I wanted to write but it wasn't coming and I was running out of time and ... well, you know how these things go.
