more random for your work day
Jan. 18th, 2007 09:32 amOy, the life ... things are going along pretty swimmingly at the moment, despite the absence of, like, all of LJ-land.

Where are you guys?
swmbo doesn't even have a Luthercorp Thought of the Day and that's really disturbing. I think that maybe their plans for World Domination are kicking up and they no longer have Time. Although, that could be of the not good because you want to keep your minions blinded, happy and in line while you kick things up a notch. There's nothing like mutiny among the minions to de-rail plans for World Domination.
Today I plan to be bored witless. It seems there was a bank error yesterday which resulted in my workload today being reduced by 90%. How much does that suck?! I still have six hours to get through. Argh! It wouldn't be half so bad if I had done like I was supposed to and brought a soft copy of my current writing project. The Seduction of Wendy Darling: a tragedy in three parts is coming along quiet well, finally. I was convinced I'd have to consign this one to Fic Amnesty Day, but it decided that it wasn't ready to be cast to the winds and I'm working on polishing and fleshing out the second part. A beta will be needed soon.
Otherwise dull dull dull!!! I'm tired and vaguely hungry, stiff and sore from this week's workout. I'll be bikini ready in no time, trust me.
Inuyasha is getting really good and I've discovered a bloody little show on IFC Friday called Basilisk.
My birthday is rolling up in a week's time and I've started the first book of 2007, Jane Hamilton's A Map of the World.
I'm trying to get my fandom thoughts in order so that I can get back to more interesting things, but first I've got to get through The Seduction of Wendy Darling. I find that I can't think Joss-verse with Peter Pan on the brain. If I were really clever maybe I could get the two together. I've done it for The Wizard of Oz after all.
