Hi, hi!

I know it's been forever and ever and ever. OMG, kids! Tired. Also stuck. I'm pulling my hair out over my [livejournal.com profile] lynnevitational fic. It's being Difficult, damnit. It is maybe three-fourths of the way done. I have to have it finished by Friday. Anybody up to doing beta on a post-NFA Angel in Hell piece? Please? My plan is to have it ready by Friday.

Nothing much to know in me world. SSDD. The knee issues have been diagnosed as Patellofemoral Pain Syndrome (basically unidentified pain behind the kneecap) and Tendonitis. The orthopod suggested I give up spin for six months. Pshaw! I said. That is crazy talk! I got an adjustable knee brace and alerted my instructors. They all agreed that I should be fine so long as I stay in zone 2 and don't stand on the bike. It is a hard restriction ya'll. Jeez! But on the plus, my knee is feeling a million years better already. I even spent all of Saturday night in Heels! I haven't been able to do that in a couple of months. Granted, I was only on my feet for maybe two hours since ZuZu Q got Shitfaced Wasted and got us kicked out of the bar! Thanks, ZuZu Q. I had bought a dress especial for the night and everything. (It was Sin's birthday.)

TV watching continues at abbreviated levels:

Heroes: How to Stop an Exploding Man

I don't know how I feel about this ep, especially as a seaon finale. It's not the best episode to date and it was very anti-climatic. Of course that is possibly to be expected since there were only two available outcomes, either the city blew up or it didn't, but somehow I expected the resolution, one way or the other, to be more exciting.

Nathan's sudden return to the Good Guy club was sudden and unsuspected. I also found it contrived. I mean, I understand, we're trying to emphasize that they are all Heroes and that Claire is her father's conscious, blah blah blah, the future is not written in stone, but it was too neatly done.

Loved Claire diving out of the window btw. Loved. It. That's my girl.

Hiro was ever awesome. I was full of squee and love when Ando told him that he looked like a Bad Ass and Hiro was all "really?" So cute. Also ... Feudal Japan? Awesome.

I think that I'm really going to miss Jessica because Nikki? Such a punk butt. Although, she came through in the end with her new superhero strength. So that must have been her power all along, speed and strength, Jessica was only a bonus and I'm betting the split personality was there before the powers were. I know there was an episode about who Jessica was (Nikki's twin) that I missed.

Really, really, really wish I could've seen Jessica kick Courtney's ass. She would have enjoyed it and been much more thorough about it then Nikki. Also? Isn't Courtney supposed to be fat and slovenly? The implication last week was that the image she always presents isn't the real her. When Nikki knocked her out I was expecting to see the "real" Courtney and not more of super shapeshifter bitch.

The whole thing with Simone's father felt out of place and "what was the hell." I'm assuming that all of that is supposed to be part of the set-up for next season. Speaking of next season ... did NOT like the eleventh hour introduction of a super bad guy more powerful than Sylar. Whatever, Molly. I can't say that I find Molly all that interesting, either. And Parkman. Dude, I was really hoping that he bit it.

Not much else got me. Still in love with Peter. Nathan ... I guess we'll see. Still don't know enough about Mama Petrelli and the mysterious group behind the whole Blow up New York plot/The Company. Are they all Heroes as well? If so, what is Mama Petrelli's power. I notice she likes to kiss people on the forehead. Maybe it's mind control or the kiss of death. Oh, that would be fun.

So, all in all, a two out of five. Just really not that interesting. I'll still be watching next season and I might give Origins, the spin-off, a shot.

Okay. See? Nothing interesting to say. Nothing. Nada. Not one decent thought for like a week and when I am thinking I'm generally consumed with the lynnevitational fic and the fact that the L key on my keyboard at work is sticking.

How are you guys?
