So that show, Hex, it gets better, right? Right? Cause the premiere was two hours of major boredom. Azazeal is suitably hot in human form. That's a plus.
British TV show. It's being billed as part Buffy, part Mean Girls, part Harry Potter with a dash of Charmed. The premiere episode was annoyingly long and disappointingly boring. The lead was rather snobby and dull. The token lesbian best friend was killed off, to come back as a ghost in the future episodes, and the evil fallen angel villian is amazingly hot. The popular kids were all stock characters you'd find in any teen drama: bitch, beauty queen, the oversexed one, the jock, the sidekick.
Too bad, it sounds like it had the potential to be interesting at some point.
On the plus side, I've been hooked into the latest Dr Who series lately. It's very good, and more modern while still keeping the style and sense of the earlier runs.
I wanted to try and watch, just like I wanted to give Stargate a try and Battlestar Galatica, but I find that I have an adverse reaction to the Sci-Fi channel ever since they cancelled Farscape. I can't seem to get myself to actually watch it. Initially, I know, it was bitterness, especially with Stargate but later it became a lethargy for the network.
I have, however, started to get into The 4400. We'll see if that lasts. :)
