Favor

A friend is having some trouble accessing the links at my website. I'm not coming up with any errors and I've since made corrections so that, hopefully, it makes sense in IE (It's designed in Firefox).

Anyway, could you few willing souls take a gander and let me know if anything isn't working. Whatever browser you're using just let me know which one.

Thanks. Very, very appreciated!!!

hi hi hi honey!!! ...as you can see I have been deserting my journal, but I was just thinking how I miss you!

Looks like all links are working for me. I'm using Firefox. However...most of the quote marks in your fics have little boxes instead of quotes. The annoying image-doesn't-show type boxes. I notice lots of things online formatted some time ago have this? Dunno why. I try copying and pasting them into word, but then all the boxes are question marks.

It all looks good from here, and I'm using neither IE nor Firefox. (Opera 9.5 for the motherfucking WIN, baby!)

Looks fine for me in both Firefox and IE. Ask your friend what version s/he's using. IE 6.0 or older has lots of bugs when it comes to CSS.

That said, I had a hard time reading the black text on your mauve background. (Though it's a gorgeous background.) IBM puts out a tool called aDesigner (http://www.alphaworks.ibm.com/tech/adesigner), which shows you what your site would look like to someone who's color blind, has different types of low vision, and what a screen reader would read. There are also other free tools that show you what level of contrast you need between your background and your text for it to be accessible to everyone.
