The Rundown
Nearing completion --
1. B/A fic for IWRY ficathon is about 85% done. I may be skipping out on Halloween shenanigans in favor of writing. I'll be needing a beta as of Monday if anyone has time.
2. The initial draft of gender and death essay is done.
3. Vex Not the Roses Commentary is at about 75%
4. eyes like the summer Commentary has an outline and a rough draft
In the works (in no particular order):
1. post-NFA Angel fic.![[livejournal.com profile]](https://www.dreamwidth.org/img/external/lj-userinfo.gif)
tkp did a preliminary beta and gave me awesome thinky notes and I've actually worked on the narrative progression.
2. post-Serenity (movie) River fic. The plot has gotten really, really complicated and that's not necessarily a good thing. Initially intended as a prequel for Burn the Flag. We'll see.
3. NaNoWriMo!
Possibly to be completed, one day, in the distant future (meaning I look at it frequently, poke it and then put it away):
1. The Seduction of Wendy Darling: A Tragedy in Three Parts (Peter Pan)
2. Assatanata (Darla/Angel/Drusilla in 18th C. Italy)
3. The Golden Lotus (extended from Drabble; slayer fic)
4. A Wave of Moonlight Gloss revision (Dawncubii part 2)
5. Impressions revision (Jesse/Spike)
6. Kansas (part 3 in Ceremonies of Light and Dark trilogy - Secrets Not Long Buried and A Butterfly Dream of Sand and Sky)
Thoughts for the Future:
1. Essay: Cordelia as archetype (mother, maiden, crone)
2. Essay: A Hooker with a Heart of Gold: re-writing the 'pretty woman' for television
3. S6 BtVS Christmas fic
4. Essay: Adulthood and the body in Angel and Buffy, the Vampire Slayer
