there is never any reason for me to hope for the best

You'd think I'd have learned better by now. I am, after all, nearing 30.

It's the timing belt. We are currently looking at $700.00 to repair it. That leaves me with $200.00 to pay the remainder of my bills. That means that I am well and try fucked.

Bleh. Car problems suck. You never know how much you depend on the damn things until they break and suck your wallet dry. I'm sorry this happened to you, but I'm glad you're still kicking!
