OMG! Because [livejournal.com profile] kormantic is an evil genius and has stuck a thought into my otherwise empty head, I have to infect the rest of you lot or I will explode. Literaly. Just what you always wanted. More of me all over the internet.

What is the very first book you remember reading?

I started pretty early reading Bobbsey Twins books. Yep.

Nan and Bert, Flossie and Freddie
Two sets of twins who lived in Lakeport and solved mysteries.
(And they were young in those first books, I think F and F were- four maybe.) I had *so* much love for those books.

The first book I remember is Half Magic by Edward Edwards. I was in first grade. It still remains a favorite.

I meant Edward Eager.

What, the first?

Uh ... I think it was one of those "Dick and Jane" thingies. And that shouldn't count! Really!

Then there was Amelia Bedelia. I know there were others before that, but I don't remember details.

I read Bobbsey Twins books, too. But later.
