I am NEVER going to catch up

So, offline for like three days and no, dear FL, though I did try, I will NOT be catching up. Why? Because I'm primping. I've a got a shiny new job to start tomorrow and I've still got to put the spit shine on my boots and shelac my hair.

Cross your fingers, make a sacrifice, wish me luck.

I'll see ya'll on Tuesday cause you know I'll make it home just in time for the double header Monday Night Games.

Oh, and in case you didn't see it! My babes destroyed the 49ers and the Pats got their asses KICKED by the Panthers.

Congrats on your new job- although you don't say what it is (or maybe you have said previously and I missed it!) In any case- I hope it's wonderful!

HELLO!!! THANK YOU!!!! The game is on as I type (Redskins and Cowboys -- how's that for irony), but I'm not as fascinated as I should be cause I am TIRED.

It's an office admin position. Today was totally the most boring day EVER, but only because it was my first day and I think they're trying to lull me into a false sense of security (yeah, hey, I can totally do this job. no problem) before smacking me down with crazy wacky stress type deadlines. It's an actuary company and according to the other admin the consultants are totally SPOILED. She's trying to re-train them but having little luck. If I end up staying that's just going to have to change because I have NEVER been good at spoiling people. Especially grown ass people with a salary twice the size of mine.

Anyway, the commute sucks but it's double what I was making at my previous job. I also got a call from another employment agency that may have something closer to home, so I'm feeling pretty good at the moment.
