Ugh. I don't think I would *ever* do Mardi Gras in New Orleans. I went for Spring Break one year, three weeks after Mardi Gras, and it was ridiculous. Crowded, hot, sticky, stinky. And did I say crowded? I can't imagine what Mardi Gras must be like. San Diego was plenty good for me. Plus, hey, I spent like all of twenty bucks. Because everything was covered, drinks, covers, hotel. I bought food and that's about it.

So -- fun. Yeah. FUN. And the Gulls, man. Who knew San Diego had a hockey team?
