(Books) OMG! I can't believe I have not read any of these except for both of the #5, and Queen of the Damned - I know what you mean, I really loved that when I first read it, but I wonder if it'd hold up as well now. I'm putting all these others on my Amazon list now.
(Movies) I have seen none of these either except for The Goonies. I've come to realize fairly recently that I really haven't seen that many movies. Probably because I don't go to the theater, haven't rented for years, don't have cable, and am usually watching TV series collections on DVD instead of films. I actually buy them sight unseen more often than rent, based on recommendations and reviews that I trust. Amelie and Brokeback Mountain are still waiting to get watched.
I must see this "Chipmunk Adventure." I bet the niblings would enjoy it too.
(Shoes) Oooh, cute! Here's a pair (http://www.dmusastore.com/pc-2019-10-triumph-1460-w.aspx) that I am planning to get soonish, if I can work them into the budget.
(Makeup) I must try Juicy Tubes. I used to buy Lancome and other dept. store brands, but have been using more "hippie" brands/types of makeup for a long time now. Lots of mineral powder makeup and tinted lip balms. Still haven't found the "perfect" mascara but it's fun trying the ones recommended in beauty blogs.
(Skincare) Just yesterday I ordered some Karite Gold shea butter (http://karitegold.com/shea-butter-products/shea-butter-pure-kg112.htm) - however it is blended with olive oil to give it spreadability. How do you "work with" the unwhipped 100% shea butter? I hear it's very time-consuming and difficult to apply, and takes a long time to absorb, but I'm sure you have a method.
